This project was born of a deep reverence for wood in all its forms.

Inspired by the NY Flagship location, MADERA’s second location is located in the LA Arts District.

The single story structure features an open floorpan that celebrates the original industrial building that is typical of the area. Wide plank flooring, plaster wall finishes, and custom furniture throughout bring warmth to the space.

Wishing to stand apart in an area already saturated with designer showrooms, the design seeks to subvert the traditional showroom program.

Expected means of displaying product were abandoned in favor of incorporating MADERA’s offerings into custom designed elements within the space.

Every pocket of the interior reflects the brand’s ethos of hand-crafted, high quality luxury design that is both thoughtful and timeless.
